"... a new breed of bottom up enterprise that does things differently: promotes ethics over profit, values over image, idealism over hype."

This past week I saw a post called "Red Dot, Black Spot" in one of my favourite Portuguese blogges Nefasto e Funesto Lda http://nefastoefunesto.blogspot.com/
It’s about Adbusters, and sneakers… The blackspot sneaker.
It’s a really interesting post and an interesting idea how you can fight back against capitalism and corporate enterprises by doing advertising campaigns whose "mission is to establish a worldwide consumer cooperative and to reassert consumer sovereignty over capitalism."

Maybe you can notice how you can have a responsible attitude when you buy something … like brand clothes… that can help fight the exploitation of children in the east, well, everywhere. Maybe you can notice that those brand clothes are the result of a hypocritical economic policy and could never look good on anybody.
It’s true that you can’t stop what is going on, just by not buying brand clothes, but it’s also true that you can
“Rethink the cool”… that’s their slogan for a campaign against NIKE…
